Majestic Rhinos (60cm by 90cm)

Behold the ‘Majestic Rhinos’ one of a kind acrylic on canvas, a tribute to the critically endangered Black rhino. According to the World Wildlife Fund, “Black rhinos remain critically endangered because of demand for rhino horns on the illegal international market, mainly in Asia, where rhino horn is used for traditional medicine, and increasingly as a status symbol to display success and wealth. Between 2008 and 2021, around 11,000 rhinos were poached in Africa.” This painting is my way of bringing awareness to their dire situation.

Each brushstroke aims to capture their majestic beauty and raise awareness for conservation efforts. I believe nature is beautiful; let us conserve it and protect our wildlife. Special thanks to the award-winning Pedro Jarque Krebs for his stunning reference picture, which inspired this creation.
